Easter drive-in festival brings movies, panto and more to Greater Manchester

A drive-in festival packed with family fun is coming to Greater Manchester this Easter.

The Parking Lot Social event is bringing movies, panto, parties, drag shows and more to the AJ Bell Stadium in Eccles, Salford, over three days.

Following the company's successful Christmas event, families can buy tickets per car, for the various events taking place between Friday, April 16 and Sunday, April 18.

It kicks off with a Social Kids event at 2pm on the Friday, featuring a silent disco, car-a-oke, an interactive quiz, party bingo and more.

Drive-in movies being shown across the three days include Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Deadpool, The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

And on the Saturday, at 3.15pm, there'll be the pantomime The Wizard of Oz - which will be performed live on the stage and shown on two large screens to make sure everyone can see the action.
