EastEnders' Whitney jilts Callum at the alter on wedding day as she makes discovery

EastEnders aired emotional scenes on Tuesday, as Whitney Dean and Callum Highway's wedding fell apart.

Whitney jilted her groom in a twist, moments after confronting his secret lover Ben Mitchell who had questioned why she wanted to go through with it knowing he was gay.

Even her stepmother Bianca couldn't sway her mind initially, telling Whit she couldn't change who Callum really was.

Whitney made it all the way to Callum who was waiting in the venue, leaving fans believing the wedding would go ahead - despite many viewers wanting Ballum to happen.

But after Callum said his vows, it was Whitney's turn to declare her feelings.

With only Bianca, Callum and Whitney knowing the situation within that room, the congregation were left stunned as the bride suddenly legged it out the room.
