EastEnders' Whitney Dean came one step closer to exposing killer Gray Atkins in the latest episode of the BBC soap.
The character recently got on the wrong side of her former lover, and was told by his boss Laura that he was a danger to women.
Whitney has since seen him in a new light, and is trying to warn Chelsea Fox out of marrying him this Christmas.
No one believes her though as Gray has appeared to be the good guy since he moved to Walford, especially since the tragic death of his wife Chantelle last year.
But Gray secretly killed his wife by fatally attacking her and leaving her for dead, and he went on to murder Tina Carter and even Whitney's boyfriend Kush Kazemi.
All of this is yet to be exposed, as well as the fact Gray was secretly abusing wife Chantelle for years, hurting her and controlling her until she finally stood up to him.
But it turns out Chantelle was using a forum to open up anonymously about her abuse at home, and this is what Whitney could be about to discover.
The latest episode saw Whitney make the connection that Chantelle might have been a victim of Gray's - and this will lead to her making the discovery that he possibly killed her too when she eventually finds proof of the abuse.
Newcomer Eve revealed all about a mystery girl on a forum a fellow prison inmate used, where mums gave and sought advice.
On this forum, Chantelle had spoken of an event at the pub where she was paired up with her dad as couples were forced to swap with each other.
While at the time her relationship with her dad Mitch Baker was not exactly great, it turns out Chantelle saw the swap as a break away from the abuse she faced at home.
Eve revealed to a stunned Whitney that the mystery girl opened up on the event giving her a "few precious days away from home", hinting she was getting away from something.
But Whitney knew full well it had to be Chantelle who wrote this, later confirmed when her email addressed matched an account on the forum.
Knowing Gray was a danger to women, she realised this could have been a cry for help from Chantelle about her violent husband.
Whitney of course knew Chantelle was at the event and that she was paired with her dad, and began slowly piecing the clues together about her life with Gray.
She was unable to get onto the forum though as she could not figure out her password, but it's only a matter of time before she learns the heartbreaking truth.
Whitney will uncover more about Chantelle's ordeal thanks to the forum, and vows to expose him for once and for all.
