EastEnders wedding showdown sees Ben reveal truth about Callum fling to Whitney

Ballum fans were ready and waiting as Ben Mitchell turned up to secret lover Callum Highway's wedding to Whitney Dean on Monday's EastEnders.

Despite being warned away, he clearly wasn't ready to give in as he headed to the venue with young daughter Lexi and her mother Lola Pearce.

He was stopped in his tracks though by bride Whit, leading to their second showdown in a matter of days.

As she laid into him claiming to know what really went on between him and Callum, he issued some home truths that could lead to her reconsidering marrying him.

Despite her being a little off with Callum, she was keen for the day to go ahead in Monday's episode but there were further bombshells.

Whitney claimed to Ben, who showed up to the wedding, that her partner was drunk when he got it on with him.

She said: "You got him drunk. You took advantage."

Whit continued to blame him, leading to Ben suggesting none of her points were valid.

He then told her that she didn't really love him, because if she did she'd let him go to be who he really was.

Ben said: "That's how it happened is it?"

As Whit again accused him of wanting what he couldn't have, he replied: "I don't want him."

It's then he asked her: "If you really love him, I mean really love him, then how can you make him live a lie?"

He also dropped the news that Callum's brother Stuart knew all about the affair and covered it up leaving her stunned - but will it be enough to stop the wedding?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Friday's at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
