EastEnders villain Ben Mitchell takes down innocent victim in gun horror

EastEnders villain Ben Mitchell pulled out a gun in tonight's dramatic episode.

While Phil Mitchell was left lying in a pool of his own blood, evil Ben made sure no one called the police.

Stacey Fowler wanted to call an ambulance after whacking Phil over the head with a wrench, but Ben told them he would clean up the mess.

When Stacey, Martin and Kat refused to leave, Ben whipped out the shooter and shouted: "What do I have to do? Do I actually have to use this thing?"

After the gun horror, nasty Ben left his dad to potentially die while he tried to frame an innocent victim.

Ben clearly wanted to get revenge after being written out of Phil's will.

He got Keanu Taylor's overalls and hid the wrench which was used to attack his dad inside.

Later on, Keanu was spotted angrily banging on the door of The Arches - making him a prime suspect for the attack on Phil.

Ben then put on the acting performance of his life while phoning for an ambulance for his dad.

When the police arrived, Ben said: "There was an argument. I thought I saw someone running away.

"This is ridiculous. It can’t have anything to do with all of this. He works with us he’s one of us."

The natural liar identified the culprit as: "Keanu. Keanu Taylor."

EastEnders fans took to Twitter after watching Ben put his dastardly scheme into action.

One viewer said: "WHAT TH is actually going on in @bbceastenders #Eastenders - first time I’ve seen it all year; Ben (new actor) just pulled a gun on the Slaters and it appears #Phil Mitchell has been killed off by Stacey"

"Ben thinks he's the f***ing Terminator ffs," added another.

A third said: "Ben is such a piece of work! Clearly he is going to frame Keanu!"

Max Bowden, the actor who plays Ben, has explained his character's motivations to Mirror Online.

Admitting Ben was opportunistic, Max said: "He's found the perfect opportunity to get one over on Keanu and try to remove him from the picture, which is a massive conflict of interest because it then leaves Phil not having as much time as he needs or necessarily should.

"But I think he's so broken by what's happened in the previous episodes, finding out that Keanu's in the will and he's not, that I think his mind goes into a complete overdrive."

He added: "It's calm and it's collected and I think he's been wanting to find an opportunity to remove Keanu from said situation for a while."
