EastEnders viewers spot 'missed evidence' as Tina 'recorded' Gray murdering her

EastEnders fans believe they have worked out how Tina Carter will expose her killer Gray Atkins from beyond the grave.

An explosive new theory could see Gray rumbled for having killed Tina as well as his wife Chantelle Atkins.

Tina died in horrifying scenes this week, just as she confronted him for trying to set her up for Ian Beale's attack.

In a showdown, she quickly realised the true events that led to Chantelle dying in September.

But Gray didn't surrender, and instead murdered Tina before disposing of her body to cover his tracks.

During the tense final moments, Tina ran for her life and attempted to call for help.

Viewers were unsure why Tina called Mick Carter though, and not the police.

Mick didn't answer the phone despite seeing the call, as he was busy rowing with his wife Linda.

As Tina held the phone to her ear, Gray suddenly entered the room and a terrified Tina dropped it from view.

But the phone was still in her hand, it seems, and it remained so when she was shown dead on the sofa.

Eagle-eyed viewers have now predicted this could lead to the end for killer Gray, after noticing something.

Mick didn't answer the phone so it went to voicemail, and Tina didn't appear to hang up or lose the phone.

Many are now questioning if it recorded her final moments and possibly her death - unless Gray placed the phone in her hand for a mystery reason.

Some also wondered if it picked up his confession about killing Chantelle too, and whether this will be the moment Gray is finally rumbled.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Gray will get caught because of Tina leaving a voicemail on Mick’s mobile by accident when she tried to get through to him #EastEnders."

Another agreed: "Tina still had her phone in her hand. did she not drop her phone (leaving voicemail to Mick.. so Mick will hear it all when he listens to it!)."

A third added: "Watch Gray get busted for confessing how he killed Chantelle thru voicemail Tina left open for Mick."

Another backed this saying: "I hope Tina’s phone was on voicemail to Mick."

A fifth echoed this, writing: "Poor Tina. Mick definitely has a voicemail....."

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
