EastEnders viewers in hysterics over Sharon Mitchell's embarrassing blunder

EastEnders viewers were left feeling a little awkward during Tuesday’s episode, as Sharon Mitchell made an embarrassing blunder while attempting to impress teenage son Dennis.

She wanted to treat him to a day at waxwork museum Madame Tussauds, but she then made a mistake that left him super red-faced.

Sharon suggested they could see the waxwork models of his favourite music artists Stormzy and Skepta, except she referred to them as “Stormzy and Sketchy”.

Viewers raced to Twitter over the blunder with many in hysterics, as others felt embarrassed for Denny.

EastEnders fans in meltdown as Sharon punches teenage gangster in the face

It came as Sharon took a dramatic step to protect her son from a gang.

She stormed out into the Square to find gang member Stix, as he vowed to impress the gang amid their plans to use him.

As Sharon reached Stix, she suddenly punched him in the face causing him to fall to the ground.

He then looked up with a bloody nose, clearly shocked by what had happened to him, and he wasn’t the only one.

Dennis and Tiffany Butcher gasped at Sharon’s actions, as she told Stix to stay away from her son.

Throwing his money at him, she told him to use it on a "nose job" after her attack, before threatening to take on his friends.

Viewers raced to Twitter over the scenes, unable to deal with the fact Sharon took on a gangster.

Others speculated it could land poor Sharon in trouble, despite her being married to Walford hard man Phil Mitchell.

Stix told her she'd made a "big mistake" leaving her concerned.

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm.
