EastEnders viewers in disbelief as they discover Kathy Beale is 70 years old

EastEnders viewers couldn't believe their eyes on Friday, when they caught a glance at Kathy Beale's dating app profile.

The Walford legend hasn't aged a day since she appeared in the very first episode of the BBC soap back in 1985.

But when fans learned her true age on Friday evening, many were left in disbelief.

After signing up to a dating app, her profile revealed how old she truly was and fans were not expecting it.

While this is a discovery that has come up a few times before in the past, some viewers still weren't away that Kathy was "older than she looks".
