EastEnders viewers were left horrified tonight after Jean Slater collapsed and began fitting in the streets after being drugged by Shirley Carter.
Worried about Jean's increasingly erratic behaviour, Kush told Shirley that he was sure that Jean wasn't taking her medication for bipolar.
Insisting that they needed to act now, he and Shirley secretly fed Jean extra pills after crushing them into her coffee.
However, Shirley discovered the devastating repercussions of their actions tonight as Jean was left struggling from the extra pills.
After experiencing waves of nausea, she struggled to keep upright and ended up collapsing in the middle of Albert Square.
Spotting her lying on the floor, Max ran over as he yelled her name and tried desperately to help her.
Meanwhile Shirley was rushing around the Square trying to find Jean, who had gone missing.
After being alerted to Max's shouts, Shirley ran over with sister Tina to Jean.
As her eyes rolled back, Jean continued to fit and worried viewers were left fearing the worst.
One tweeted: "I thinks they have killed poor Jean."
While another commented: "Oh no Jean!"
