EastEnders fans are being distracted by Bobby Beale's 'coronavirus lockdown haircut'.

Ian Beale's son caused quite a stir on social media after unveiling his new hairdo - with some viewers asking if he did it himself.

An announcement before the show revealed the episode was filmed before the UK went into lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But that didn't stop Bobby facing comparisons with real-life lads who have attempted to shave their own barnets.

EastEnders viewers noticed Bobby's lid at the start of Tuesday night's episode when his crush was exposed.

When Ian offered to give his son his old job back he quickly rushed off - with Sharon asking if he was having "girl trouble".

Asking if he was seeing anyone, Ian said: "It better not be Dotty. I told him to steer well clear."

But Bobby was in for a shock when he secretly spied on his dad having a tense confrontation with Dotty.

Bobby saw them arguing over the fake CCTV footage at The Arches and went to check Dotty was alright afterwards.

He was thrilled when Dotty turned up for dinner - but Ian felt increasingly uncomfortable as she goaded him over Dennis' death.
