EastEnders viewers discover identity of evil Martin's hit-and-run victim

EastEnders viewers have finally discovered the identity of Martin Fowler's hit-and-run victim.

Martin and Tubbs were so busy excitedly celebrating their latest heist they failed to spot someone walk out in the middle of the road.

The victim smashed into their windscreen and their lifeless body was left lying in the middle of the road.

Martin feared he had killed someone and asked Ben Mitchell to destroy the van - but the grief was eating him up.

After pouring his heart out to Sonia, she took the cowardly fruit and veg seller to hospital to see his victim.

While speaking at the allotments, Sonia said: "You told me Christmas Eve that you might have killed someone then you disappear on Christmas morning. Have you any idea how worried I’ve been?"

Martin claimed he had "blood on his hands" as he broke down in tears.

Worried Sonia revealed she had done some digging and a man had been brought into hospital after a hit-and-run.
