EastEnders viewers beg for Jean to get psychiatric help after Mo makes horrifying discovery

EastEnders viewers were horrified as Jean Slater's mental health continued to to deteriorate, with Mo Harris making a shocking discovery.

When Mo, Suki Panesar, and Kush Kazemi turned up at Jean's house, demanding she accept that she is mentally unwell.

Mo rushed upstairs and made a shocking discovery in Jean's bedroom.

She realised Jean had laid out the clothes of her late partner Daniel Cook, and was horrified to find out how much Jean had lost her grip on reality.

Mo rushed downstairs to warn Kush that Jean thought she was communicating with Daniel.

Viewers were saddened that Jean's turmoil was still continuing even after her horror collapse in the market.

"Why hasn't anyone called the mental health services team for Jean? #Eastenders " asked one.

"Still waiting for someone to Jean some help Becuase you can clearly see she’s struggling #EastEnders " added another.

"Jean is so broken, I really feel sorry for her #EastEnders " wrote a third.

"Jean needs the mental health team now #EastEnders " penned a fourth.

Daniel died of battle in February, and Jean struggled to cope with her grief.

Viewers recently saw her speak to an empty chair as if David was sitting in it.

Following a tough few months, Jean stopped taking her bipolar medication.

Her concerned loved ones including Kush Kazemi began putting her tablets in her food and tea to make sure she was taking them.

But they ended up causing her to overdose, and the character collapsed - leading to her being rushed to hospital.

After finding out what they'd done, Jean changed the locks on the front door and kicked out Kush, Mo and the kids.

She is now refusing to let anyone back in, and is alone in the house, spiralling.

* EastEnders airs Mondays at 8pm and Tuesdays at 7.30pm on BBC One
