Eastenders viewers are all saying the same thing about Linda's foot during dramatic episode

Monday night's episode of Eastenders marked the start of a huge week for the soap as it airs dramatic scenes to mark its 35th anniversary.

But while Mick and Linda Carter's boat party turns into an epic disaster, fans of the BBC drama couldn't help but notice one particular thing.

The Queen Vic owners were throwing a boat party to celebrate the pub winning an award but with their relationship still being tested by Linda's alcoholism, it was never going to be plain sailing.

Following an argument, Linda stormed off and went to below deck to the kitchen, finding a bottle of booze left on the shelf.

However, she soon founder herself stuck when disaster hit the boat and it began to flood with water.

Linda was completely unconscious and when she did wake, with Mick shouting to find her, she had her foot stuck between a kitchen side and equiptment.

And while they tried desperately to release her ankle, the pair where unable to break free as the water began to rise.

Mick promised his wife: "Do you think I'd ever leave you? I love you. If this boat goes down, I'm going down with it."

But viewers have took exception to the scene and believe Linda could easily become free.

"#EastEnders if she slid her foot sideways she could get it out," advised one soap fan.

Another added: "This is not Titanic...Linda needs to move her foot is not that badly stuck. #EastEnders #EastEnders35."

"Catching up on last nights #eastenders and kinda confused why Linda didn’t slide her foot to the side and down," commented a third.

A fourth fumed: "If beautiful Mick dies because Linda’s foot WASNT even stuck near the end I might just go psycho."

While another commented: "Right am not being funny but Mick can literally lift up that table and release Linda’s foot. FUMING MATE."

It has already been confirmed that the Walford residents are set to be rocked by another death. Could it be Mick or Linda?

EastEnders continues on BBC One tonight at 7:30pm.
