EastEnders teases return of heartthrob Sean Slater with explosive new trailer

EastEnders bosses have confirmed the return of major heartthrob Sean Slater in an explosive new trailer.

Sean, who is brother to Stacey Slater and Jean's son, will be back in Walford very soon, ten years after his exit.

The soap's official Twitter account teased his comeback in a push to get fans to vote for them in the upcoming Soap Awards.

In the clip, Sean, played by Rob Kazinsky, can be seen for just a fleeting moment as he swings a punch at Jack Branning in a graveyard brawl.

At the end of the trailer, Sean sports a nasty-looking black eye and stares moodily into a rear view mirror - could he be heading for Albert Square full of rage?

The page didn't say when he'd be on screen, simply teasing that he would be "back soon".

Sean's return has sent EastEnders lovers into a frenzy, with many taking to Twitter to share their excitement.

One tweeted: "Sean Slater coming back to EastEnders brilliant news."

Another posted: "Breaking EastEnders news. Sean Slater would absolutely still get it.

"Tempted to watch now Sean slater is back on 'Enders," another wrote.

Sean will arrive in Walford after a worried Stacey rings him about their mum Jean's battle with ovarian cancer.

Stacey's phonecall sends shock waves through the Slater clan, as Kat says she shouldn't have rang him.

When Jean starts asking after her son, Stacey has to decide whether to let him know he'd been in touch.
