EastEnders' Tamzin Outhwaite 'devastated' as late mum's 'irreplaceable' coat is stolen

Tamzin Outhwaite was left "devastated" after her late mother's "irreplaceable" coat was mercilessly stolen.

The EastEnders star, 49, told fans that thieves broke into her car in the early hours of Friday as they stole items from her boot that were personal to her.

The soap star revealed that a large suitcase she had been keeping in the boot of her car was full of clothes and jewellery for an upcoming photoshoot she has planned.

Taking to Twitter after the horrific ordeal, Tamzin penned: "So at 1am I was woken by my car alarm going off.

"I had left a large suitcase in the boot, packed full of clothes, shoes, accessories & jewellery ready for a very early start this morning."

She went on: "I was supposed to be doing a favour for a friend on their creative project & my case was full of carefully selected outfits for a full day on this project today. 

"Yes I called the police, & they were helpful, but I keep waking up remembering what was in the case. I am devastated. 

"Yes my favourite clothes & shoes, but my mum's favourite Jaeger coat that I have inherited."

Tamzin's mum tragically passed away back in 2018 - which was sudden for her.

The coat was a personal reminder of her late mum, and its value was priceless to her.

She added: "It was unique & irreplaceable. As soon as I realised the noise was MY car alarm I was out the door driving around looking for someone dragging a very heavy case but nothing."

She went on: "I know I should not have left it in the boot, even though it was locked but I thought I was being well prepared. 

"Anyway. I'm gutted. If anyone sees a leopard print,beautiful Jaeger coat in a 10 & a bunch of other clothes...please report it. Thank you."

She added: "I can't sleep as I keep remembering what was in the case. Nothing compares to the Jaeger coat , which I think of my mum wearing when I think of her. 

"I know she would have said 'Tam they are just things. Possessions. Don't worry' but I'm devastated."
