EastEnders co-stars Max Bowden and Shona McGarty were seen snogging on a bowling date by onlookers, it has been reported
The pair, who play Ben Mitchell and Whitney Dean in the soap, are said to be an item having grown close on the set of Albert Square after both splitting from their partners.
An EastEnders super fan posed for a pic with the couple at the Hollywood Bowl in Hertfordshire - however the snap has since been removed from Instagram.
The photo shows Shona, 30, smiles sporting an oversized cream shirt and tan trousers.
Max, 27, meanwhile, cuts a casual figure in a navy shirt, giving a thumbs up to the camera.
A witness said: “They were kissing and touchy-feely — not trying to cover up they’re a couple," reports The Sun.
The pair were fist linked back in May after Max was seen leaving Shona's home and holding hands with the actress at a kebab van.
The acting duo insisted at the time they were "just good friends".
The rumours came after Max split with his pregnant girlfriend.
Roisin was reportedly left feeling "heartbroken" and "humiliated" after Max was rumoured to be embarking on a relationship with his co-star.
The beauty is said to have been "shocked" when she "found out" about him and Shona - bursting into tears.
A source told The Sun : "She never expected Max to move on so quickly."
However, the pair are said to still be talking to each other with their baby boy due in August.
While Shona, who joined EastEnders in 2008, split from her fiancé Ryan Harris in January, claiming their separation was "amicable".
However as rumours of a romance between her and Max continued to circulate, the drama all got a bit much for the actor.
In news which concerned fans, Max recently revealed he was taking a break from Instagram.
Taking to his Stories, he wrote: "Taking a little break from Instagram. See so much s*** on here need a break. Love ya x."
