EastEnders star Melissa Suffield has announced that she's welcomed her first child — a healthy baby boy.
The actress, who played Lucy Beale in the BBC soap, took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to share the happy news with a string of photos of the newborn.
Melissa, 27, revealed the baby's name is River Jefferson Carter-Robinson and called him "perfect".
She shares little River with her fiancé Robert Brendan, who was pictured in one of the photos cuddling their bundle of joy.
Another photo showed new mum Melissa looking every inch the proud parent as she smiled down at her son.
River looked adorable in a white woolly hat and a matching babygro and was wrapped in a striped blanket to keep warm.
Melissa captioned the post: "River Jefferson Carter-Robinson. 16.03.2020.
"What a perfect little human we appear to have made.
"We could not be more obsessed with you."
Melissa and Robert announced the pregnancy just three months after they became engaged.
The couple were dating for nine years before Robert popped the question.
Melissa is best known for being the third actress to have played Lucy Beale on the BBC soap.
She starred in the role for six years, but was reportedly fired in 2010 for drinking underage amid warnings over her "unruly" behaviour.
At the time, Melissa branded the sacking "unfair".
The role of Lucy was later played by Hetti Bywater before the famous character was killed off in 2015.
