EastEnders star Max Bowden was left fuming when building work being carried out next door to his home woke him up in the midst of the lockdown.
The actor, who plays Ben Mitchell in the BBC soap, said he had been sleeping peacefully and "trying not to have palpitations" when he was awoken by loud drilling.
The 25-year-old questioned if the work should even be going on while the UK is in lockdown.
In a bid to get the coronavirus pandemic under control, Prime Minister Boris Johnson says people should only travel to work if it's essential.
People should now only go outside to buy food or medicine, for one daily round of exercise or to help an elderly or vulnerable person.

Angry Max took to Twitter to write: "So weve just gone into lockdown, I am peacefully sleeping trying not to have palpitations in light of the current state of the country.... AND THE BUILDERS ARE BACK ROUND THE NEIGHBOURS DRILLING. DURING LOCKDOWN!?!? ESSENTIAL!?!?!?!"
His fans were clearly on his side.
One replied: "It's a scary time. That's crazy that those builders are still working, what is wrong with people. Stay safe, stay strong & take care, Max. Sending you lots of love & good vibes from Ireland! "
Another commented: "THE ICE CREAM VAN KEEPS COMING UP MY ROAD it’s a f**king JOKE"

A third wrote: "Aw Max, there’s just not telling some people! Hope they stop soon and you can go back too your peaceful sleep. Stay safe"
However, the Government has said that builders are among those who can still go to work as long as they stay at least two metres apart.
It was announced last week that EastEnders had halted production with immediate effect.

The soap cut down from four episodes a week to just two in an effort to ensure the soap can run for as long as possible while filming is suspended.
A BBC spokesperson said: "In light of the spread of COVID-19, after much consideration, it has been decided that filming on EastEnders will be postponed until further notice. The decision was made after the latest government update.
"We will continue to follow the latest news and advice from the World Health Organisation and Public Health England. We have also taken the decision to reduce the amount of episodes we broadcast each week to two, so that we can ensure the audience can continue to enjoy EastEnders in their homes for as long as possible."
