EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley has been inundated with compliments after she debuted her new blonde hair having finally made it to the hairdressers.
The 44-year-old soap actress, best known for playing Karen Taylor on Albert Square, took to social media on Monday to show off her recent transformation alongside several posts.
In one Instagram image, where Lorraine showed off her sleek new do, Lorraine thanked her hairdresser as she opened up about being 'all natural' in the make-up-free snap.
"Ooh Betty! get me back to blonde,it’s been a while,no make up,all natural....except the bleach," she penned alongside the cheerful snap. "Thankyou @amydavidsonhair for a lovely time in Lincoln,I was a proper tourist with my camera Nancy had fun! lots of love and see you all soon xxx."
In the post, that Lorraine shared with her 145,000 Instagram followers, the actor posed alongside her hairdresser while showing off her locks.
The star was swiftly inundated with compliments as fans flocked to hair their approval for Lorraine's new hair.
"Wow you look absolutely beautiful as always and you're hair looks so amazing," added one fan.
"Goddess. Wow,wow,wow...blondes have more fun!" added a second.
In an earlier Instagram story, Lorraine also showed off her hair transformation in the making as she unveiled a candid snap with several foils piled up on her head.
Lorraine's trip to the hairdressers formed part of a exciting trip to Lincoln which she also documented on her social media page. The outing included a visit to a gorgeous cathedral and a walk down cobbled streets with pals.
Later, Lorraine then swept her hair up into her signature bun as she shared a powerful message with her fans in order to raise awareness for neurofibromatosis.
In the clip, the actor spoke directly to her fans as she opened up about the genetic disorder.
"I can say neurofibromatosis, can you?" she said toward the camera.
Lorraine's character Karen is known for her unkempt hair, scruffy clothes, and for constantly having her bra strap halfway down her arm. However, she is not short of glam social media posts that prove she is a far cry from her on-screen persona.
Earlier this year, the actor also showed off a glam selfie alongside her husband as the couple marked their seven-year anniversary together.
In the gorgeous post, Lorraine looked sensational as she showed off her blonde locks alongside a touching caption in which praised her husband Mark Perez.
