EastEnders star Lacey Turner has shared her dream to welcome two more babies to her adorable family.
And looks set to be a busy few years ahead for the soap star mum-of-two, who has also revealed plans to renew her wedding vows to her husband Matt Kay.
Popular actress Lacey has been enjoying six months maternity leave since giving birth to son Trilby.
Trilby is five months old now and the couple’s daughter Dusty has just turned two.
But National TV and British Soap Awards winner Lacey would love to add to her blossoming family, although she admits getting back to work on the BBC soap is the next step in her busy life.
“I’d still have four [children],” stressed 33-year-old Lacey, in an interview with OK! VIP Club. “I would be happy with three and I’d be happy with two if this was our lot.
“[But] We’re so lucky to have the two we’ve got, but I would definitely have more. “It definitely won’t be any time soon, though – we have our hands full at the moment!”
Lacey and her family have been enjoying some welcome downtime at their luxury five-bedroom villa in Ibiza.
The couple describe their holiday home as their “happy place” and have been enjoying some welcome downtime in Spain before Lacey returns to work as character Stacey Slater in the hit BBC One soap.
And Lacey admitted it will be “strange” when she finally swaps palm trees and a plush swimming pool for a return to the trials and tribulations of Albert Square.
“It will be strange to leave Trilby when we’ve been together for the past five months,” she admitted.
“But I’m excited to go back and it’s always lovely to see everyone.
“I’m really lucky because although with a big storyline you can be working like any full-time job, there are a lot of times when I’m not needed so it works out perfectly.
“I also live not too far away from the studios so that always makes things easier and I can pop home between filming. I’m always home for bath and bedtime, too.”
And Our Girl star Lacey was quick to praise her hubby of nearly four years Matt for being a supportive father whilst she juggles her bust acting career.
“You have to be a team,” stressed Lacey.
“People say when you have kids your life changes and that’s it and it’s over, but we weren’t massive goer-outers anyway so for us it hasn’t really changed our dynamic.
“I do think it’s brought us closer together and it’s nice to just have a little family unit. We feel stronger together.”
A view echoed by Matt who said: “If anything it’s brought us closer together – it requires a lot of teamwork.”
Lacey and Matt got married at their Spanish home, one which they are slowly renovating and which boasts a tennis court.
But what about renewing their wedding vows one day?
“Maybe when we make it to 10 years that would be nice to do,” admitted Lacey. “If we did it, I’d want to have it in Ibiza in the same location and exactly the same party but without the ceremony.”
Lacey and Matt love spending time in Ibiza and the actress admitted: “It’s where we feel most like us.
“I just love everything about it. It’s still so untouched, it has beautiful sunsets, so much greenery and the best beaches.
"We’ve had this place for three years. We really wanted to keep it traditional and I wanted it to feel Spanish so we’re trying to put all the original features back in.
"It’s quite Ibiza-esque and we have lots of colour, prints and patterns. It makes us feel happy.
"We have someone who keeps an eye on it for us and makes sure it’s still standing when we’re not here. We also rent it out to family and friends."
