EastEnders star Jessie Wallace goes shopping in mini-skirt amid soap suspension

EastEnders star Jessie Wallace headed out to the shops in a mini-skirt in London.

As the UK basked in the glorious hot weather, the actress caught the rays on her legs during her essential trip to the shops amid coronavirus lockdown.

The soap star took a leaf out of her famous character Kat Slater's dress sense in her black mini-skirt for her outing.

Her skirt drew eyes to her legs with its crocheted design and scalloped edge.

Clad in plastic blue gloves, Jessie ensured she had protective gear while she was out and about amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The starlet donned teal green sunglasses for the sunshine as she soaked up the sun.

Yet she slipped on a burgundy sweater over her vest top incase it got chillier later.

Fairy washing powder was among the essentials the actress picked up at the shops.

As she emerged from the shops, she headed back to her car.

Her sighting comes months after she was reportedly suspended for allegedly being drunk on the set of EastEnders.

The actress was written out of the soap for two months before coronavirus and a report suggests she was disciplined by bosses over her boozing.

A source told The Sun Jessie "seemed drunk" during filming.

It comes after The Daily Star Sunday revealed bosses had hauled Jessie into a meeting over an incident during work and she was suspended for two months.

It would be the second time her partying has got her into trouble with BBC bosses.

Back in the 2000s, she was previously suspended from the show over claims she had used the drug ketamine on a night out.

In the past, the star was convicted on a drink-driving charge in 2003 and in 2018 she was sent home from the British Soap Awards for being tipsy.
