EastEnders actor Jake Wood is a long way from Albert Square as he takes a sunshine break with wife Alison and their two children.
The former Strictly star, who plays Max Branning in the BBC soap, his wife, and their two kids Buster and Amber were enjoying a holiday in Dubai.
They were spotted sunbathing, swimming and taking a stroll on the beach before the boys embarked in a game of footie.
It was a far cry from a holiday the family took in Florida five years ago when they came face to face with an alligator.

Jake, 37, said: “I almost lost my wife to an alligator. She was standing in the water about 15 feet away from our boat and I see this thing floating down the river.
“So, I’m looking at it and thinking, it’s got to be a log or something. All of a sudden it goes down and I see an eye. The kids are screaming, I’m screaming: ‘Get back in the boat!'”

Luckily we’re pretty sure they don’t have alligators in Dubai swimming pools.
Meanwhile, EastEnders fans have been gobsmacked by a new storyline involving Jake's character.
Max Branning and Ruby Allen slept together in a surprise romance twist, leaving his former flame and her best friend Stacey Fowler in shock.
It seems a leopard never does change its spots after all.
