EastEnders star Danny Walters has split from his long-term girlfriend Lily Smith.
The 26-year-old actor, who plays Keanu Taylor in the BBC soap, had been dating Lily for five years but they have decided to call time on their relationship by mutual consent.
The couple regularly documented their romance on social media, sharing pictures of their holidays in the sun and spending time together in hot tubs.
However, Danny reportedly wants to focus on his work and they decided it was time to make the break.
A source told The Sun : "They’re both really young and have a lot of growing to do separately, so felt it was best to try being single.
"However they still remain close and have a lot of respect for each other.”
Danny has made a big impact since arriving in Albert Square in June 2017, taking the National Television Award for Best Newcomer, 12 months later.
He first appeared on our screens in 2012 when he starred alongside Suranne Jones in the film Broken Hearts.
He had studied at the London School of Musical Theatre between 2011 and 2012, and has proved to be a fan favourite since appearing in Walford.
