Ruby Allen will be seen welling up over a pregnancy test during Friday’s EastEnders.
The nightclub owner has struggled for months to carry a pregnancy to term as she desperately hopes for a child with her husband Martin Fowler.
Thursday night’s episode saw Martin pay a visit to ex-wife Stacey Slater in prison to reveal that he knows Ruby reported Stacey’s mum Jean Slater to the police for growing weed in the Slater garage.
Little does Martin know that Ruby had acted out to stop Jean exposing how Ruby had framed Stacey for pushing her down the nightclub stairs and causing a miscarriage.

However, the night’s episode ended with Jean framing Ruby in turn for being a drug dealer.
During Friday night’s episode, Ruby will be sat in her nightclub after having taken a pregnancy test.
The result sees her well up - but what does the test reveal?
Little does Ruby know, Martin is entirely aware of what she has done to Jean.

As Martin heads home, he wants answers from his wife when they come face to face.
Ruby is finally forced to face up to what she has done to Stacey but more twists lie in store.
Actress Louisa Lytton has now departed the soap on maternity leave after recently giving birth to her first child.
In a recent interview with The Mirror and other press outlets, the producers of the BBC One soap teased a “slightly sticky end” for Ruby.

Kate Oates, BBC Studios’ Head of Continuing Drama, commented: "Jean is intent on bringing Ruby down and clearing Stacey's name, so Ruby is gonna come to quite a slightly sticky end.”
How will Ruby depart Albert Square and what will it mean for her marriage to Martin?
*EastEnders continues on Friday at 8pm on BBC One with previous episodes available on BBC iPlayer.
