EastEnders spoilers: Pam's emotional return sees Ben make big decision about Callum

EastEnders spoilers have revealed a big moment for Ballum next week, as Ben Mitchell makes a huge gesture to lover Callum Highway after facing his past.

Ben is surprised by a familiar face in Walford in upcoming scenes, as Pam Coker returns with some wise words.

Pam is the grandmother of Ben's late boyfriend Paul Coker, played by actor Jonny Labey, who was killed in a homophobic attack on the BBC soap in 2016.

Ben, now played by Max Bowden, has struggled with Paul's death for the past three years, blaming himself, with this preventing him from moving on amid his new romance with Callum.

Next week, Pam's back and Ben can't help but hide Callum's true identity from her leaving him deflated.

Ben is thrilled to see her, but is left feeling awkward when she sees him and Callum together because of Paul.

Instead, he downplays who Callum is leaving him gutted - but Pam sees right through it.

The pair end up having an emotional heart-to-heart, with her encouraging Ben to move on from Paul and find happiness.

Knowing how he feels about Callum, she tells Phil Mitchell's son to be happy and go for it with his new flame.

The words of encouragement are enough to make Ben realise he can finally move on from Paul, and he decides to seize the moment.

Her words lead to the character making a huge gesture - but what does he have planned, and how will Callum react?

Earlier on in the episode, he doesn't get the reaction he is hoping for as he reveals his new business venture to him.

As best mate Jay Brown decides to take a backseat from the funeral parlour, Ben sees an opportunity to help Callum make some more money.

He decides to step into Jay's job, joining forces with Pam in the process - but what will Callum say?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
