EastEnders spoilers: New owners of Queen Vic revealed as Linda struggles

EastEnders spoilers have revealed the new owners of the Queen Vic as Linda Carter struggles without estranged husband Mick.

Mick - played by Danny Dyer - is still considered a missing person after he jumped into the sea to try and save his partner Janine Butcher and his estranged wife Linda Carter. Since then, Janine has been arrested amid her plans to frame Linda for the car crash, whilst Linda has returned to Walford and is still struggling with Mick's 'death'.

Spoilers for next week's episodes reveal who is likely to be taking over the ownership of The Queen Vic, as Linda receives some unwelcome news via a phone call as she struggles with it being Valentine's Day.

After struggling with it being Valentine's Day and Mick not being around, Linda is dealt even more bad news as she gets a call from the lawyer, who says that Janine is still keen to sell Mick's half of The Queen Vic.

She confides in Sharon about the news, and the pair quickly head to hatch a plan at the café. Linda is worried, as she seems to have no choice but to sell up. However, Sharon is adamant that won't happen.

Soon she makes an offer to Linda she can't refuse - and plots to buy Mick's half of The Vic.

Later in the week, Sharon continues with her plan, but a spanner is thrown in the works when someone else puts their name forward. As Eve overhears Sharon's plan, she thinks she knows the perfect way to win Suki's trust back.

But will Suki like the idea of owning The Queen Vic or has Sharon secured a share in the Square's much-loved pub?

It comes after bosses confirmed Kellie Bright - who plays Linda - will be involved in a never before done storyline following Danny Dyer's exit. Boss Chris Clenshaw has teased there are "big plans" for Linda.

He said: "Linda’s still very much at the heart of Albert Square and it’s so great to have Kellie. She’s not going to get over Mick very quickly. She was just reunited with him then he was snatched away from her so it won’t be all smiles straight away.

"There are big plans for Linda. She’s going to start shooting something in January that goes out in February and it’s something that we as a show haven’t done before. Linda’s at the centre of that."

"There is a question mark over the future of The Vic at the moment", he added of the owners of the pub now Mick has met his end in the frozen water, "Kellie knows what’s happening and we know what’s happening with the Vic. It’s very exciting."
