EastEnders spoilers: Mitch grows suspicious of Gray amid domestic abuse horror

EastEnders fans have been left struggling to watch harrowing scenes over the past months, with Gray Atkins violently abusing his wife Chantelle.

While Gray and Chantelle seem like the perfect family, behind closed doors it's a very different story.

Gray's domestic abuse towards Chantelle was exposed to fans last year, while it's something that has been going on for some time.

No one, including Chantelle's family, know the truth, with the most recent attack seeing him break her arm.

He's now stressed out with being Whitney Dean's lawyer, after she accidentally killed her stalker Leo King.

Under pressure and feeling as though he's failing the case, Gray has been seen snapping at his wife and children.

But new BBC spoilers released by the show have hinted someone could be about to find out what he's been doing.

Chantelle's dad Mitch Baker has never really seen eye-to-eye with his son-in-law.

Now, spoilers for the episode airing on Thursday September 12 have hinted that Mick will find out all about Gray's behaviour.

The spoiler reads: "Mitch’s suspicions about Gray reach fever pitch."

So what has he discovered, and what does he think he knows about the layer?

It doesn't detail what is going on, with more spoilers expected to be released soon.

Perhaps it has something to do with his job or the case, or something different entirely.

But with his anger getting out of control, fans will no doubt be questioning if Mitch will cotton on to his daughter's fears of being around her husband.

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
