Mick Carter will be left plotting extreme measures against Rainie Highway in next week’s EastEnders.
Tuesday night’s episode saw Linda Carter ( Kellie Bright ) return to the Queen Vic with her newborn baby Annie.
Jack Branning ( Scott Maslen ) agreed to keep Mick ( Danny Dyer ) and Linda’s secret that Max Branning is the biological father of the baby, but Max’s ex-wife Rainie Highway ( Tanya Franks ) remains suspicious.
Next week, as Rainie continues to remain a thorn in the Carters’ side, Mick will be forced to take action to hide the secret.
Linda remains determined that Mick will be recorded on legal documents as baby Annie’s father and that he will sign the birth certificate.
However, Rainie is going to drastic lengths to prove that Max is the father.
Whilst on a walk, Mick and Linda’s daughter Nancy spots flyers all over that refer to Max as the father of Linda’s baby.
In response, Mick threatens a smug Rainie who is hell-
bent on bringing Max back to Walford to reunite her with little Abi Branning Jr.
Rainie’s behaviour prompts Mick to take drastic action against her.
However, just how far will Mick go to stop Rainie’s obsessIon?
Whatever Mick decides, Rainie and Stuart are left horrified later in the week, prompting Stuart to pay a visit to the Queen Vic and offer old best pal Mick a very serious threat as he has jeopardised his family.
How will the Carters respond to this threat from Stuart?
Actress Kellie Bright has given birth to her third child and had already filmed her final scenes as Linda before her maternity leave.
How will Linda depart Albert Square and will Mick be going with her?
