EastEnders spoilers: Linda and Mick Carter make life-changing decision

EastEnders will air bittersweet scenes on the BBC soap in the coming weeks.

Mick and Linda Carter come to a big decision about thire future in Walford, leading to a life-changing choice.

It will no doubt be a shock to loved ones and friends, but is a decision they come to based on recent family turmoil.

Linda's ongoing battle with alcoholism is put first, as the couple vow to tackle their demons together for once and for all.

In order to do that, they agree that selling The Queen Vic pub to new owners is for the best.

The family have run the famous pub since they arrived in 2013, and seven years on they're giving it up.

Of course this means the pub will have new owners very soon, which is super exciting.

But fans of the show will no doubt be sad to see the Carters step away from behind the bar.

Mick and Linda will be staying in Walford though, so fans have nothing to worry about.

There's no current news on who will be replacing them as owners of The Queen Vic.

Linda and Mick almost split earlier this year as her alcoholism tore them apart, with them deciding to get a divorce.

But after almost dying in the recent boat crash, the pair reconciled and have been stronger than ever.

EastEnders airs Mondays at 8pm and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
