EastEnders Isaac Baptise finally tells Lola Pearce the truth about his health diagnoses, despite being advised by his family not to tell anyone.
Kim Fox promises to get Isaac a date, determined for him to have a proper relationship.
After Whitney passes on the offer with her own secret relationship in mind, Kim turns to another prospective love match.
Later, Isaac is shocked when his date arrives and it’s Lola, and their date initially goes well until a misunderstanding cuts the night short.
Back at home, Sheree is upset that Kim has set her son up and when Isaac returns home angry, Kim explains that Isaac got the wrong end of the stick.
She explains she didn’t pay Lola to date him, leaving Isaac feeling foolish, and he tracks Lola down and confesses that he’d like to try again.
But they do not notice an infuriated Sheree watching on from across the Square.
Isaac's mum Sheree Truseman demands that Isaac takes Patrick out for the day, ruining his plan to surprise Lola.
At The Queen Vic, Isaac sympathises with Patrick having to take medication, before hastily changing the subject.
When Sheree arrives, Patrick realises he was being babysat and tells Isaac to go see Lola instead.
Sheree tries to tell Isaac that a serious girlfriend is not right for him wit his condition, but this only pushes Isaac away.
At The Vic, Kim Fox describes her new business idea – The Fox Catcher, a brand new matchmaking service.
Sheree approaches Lola, demanding she leave Isaac alone, but Lola refuses and Sheree decides she must up the ante.
Isaac is upset that Lola isn’t returning his calls, and Patrick offers his son some advice, accidentally revealing that Sheree must have meddled.
At the Salon, Isaac confronts Sheree, and tells her he is ready to tell people the truth now.
But she cruelly retaliates by trying to convince him that everyone will run a mile as soon as they find out.
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
