EastEnders spoilers: Chantelle struggles to hide horrific injuries after Gray's beating

EastEnders' Chantelle Atkins will be left struggling to cover her horrific bruises next week, after another beating from abusive husband Gray.

Amid his stress surrounding Whitney Dean's case, and him being suspended from work, he once again takes his anger out on his wife.

Despite trying therapy and promising not to hurt her again after breaking her arm, the past few weeks have been worrying for Chantelle.

His aggressive behaviour leads to another brutal attack from Gray, leaving Chantelle injured.

Spoilers for next week have confirmed the character will struggle to cover her injuries in the fallout.

Despite being covered in bruises, Karen Taylor's daughter begins a new job at the local call centre.

Gray's worried about this, fearing his abuse will be exposed.

As he sparks concern with other residents in the Square with his behaviour, it leads to a huge discovery.

Later on in the week, Gray is left mortified when he sees the extent of his wife's injuries.

He insists it will never happen again, but she's heard it all before.

But she's forced to face the situation when her dad Mitch Baker makes a discovery of his own.

He finds Gray's therapy card, and questions what it's for.

Will Chantelle reveal all and expose her husband's anger issues - or will Mitch discover the abuse?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
