EastEnders spoilers: Chantelle in fear as abusive Gray turns anger on children

EastEnders' domestic abuse storyline involving Chantelle and Gray Atkins will take an even more worrying turn next week.

New spoilers for the BBC soap confirm Chantelle is left worried, when her abusive husband takes his anger out on their two young children.

While he isn't violent towards them, Gray loses his temper at Mackenzie and Mia.

He snaps at the little ones, leaving wife Chantelle worried about his behaviour following his most recent brutal attack on her.

Gray broke Chantelle's arm when she tried to walk away from an argument, leaving her terrified.

The ongoing plot has left fans in turmoil for the young mum, desperate for someone to help her.

Next week, Whitney Dean's arrest leaves pal Chantelle in shock.

Whitney is arrested after murdering her stalker Leo King in self-defence in recent scenes on the soap.

Gray will snap at his two young children next week (BBC)

Lawyer Gray reluctantly agrees to take on the case and defend her, despite having known Leo.

But the case soon becomes too much or him, with him left feeling the pressure.

It's then that he ends up snapping at Mackenzie and Mia in front of their mother.

Knowing full well the damage that can be caused by Gray's temper, Chantelle is left seriously concerned.

But will Chantelle act on her fears, and could it lead to further turmoil for her?

Whitney is left horrified next week after her arrest, as she's locked up in a cell.

When the detectives question whether she murdered Leo on purpose, Gray is left further torn when he realises she went to the boat party after Leo's death.

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One .
