Bobby Beale is left horrified as girlfriend Dana Monroe is beaten in front of him on EastEnders next week.
Sweet young couple Bobby and Dana have already overcome his dark history of murdering sister Lucy and her father Harvey’s disapproval, but now old wounds are reopened next week when a nasty incident occurs.
During next week’s episodes, Harvey urges daughter Dana to reconsider being with Bobby once again, adding a strain to their relationship.
Later in the week, Dana decides to join Bobby and his friends Waseem and Iqra - along with Mila’s younger sister Kioni - as they hand out flyers supporting the new mosque.

Dana is troubled, however, when she notices a group of men approach the group.
These men then proceed to level racial slurs at the group and leave them all shaken.
Harvey tries to help the situation and even tries cracking a joke but creates further upset when his humour proves offensive.
Despite the discomfort, Bobby makes clear how much he loves Dana and tries to persuade Harvey that he will always do his utmost to protect Dana.

As the day goes on, Bobby goes out with Dana, Iqra and Kioni when they are corned by the bigots they had an encounter with earlier.
In retaliation for what occurred earlier, the men proceed to brutally beat Dana, as Bobby is forced to watch helplessly.
In the aftermath of the vicious attack, Bobby blames himself for what happened to Dana and feels powerless.
At the police station, Iqra apologises to Bobby for leaving the situation as it occurred, but it is clear he blames himself more than anything.

Will Dana still wish to be romantic with Bobby and how will Harvey feel about his daughter and Bobby now?
Meanwhile, next week also sees Harvey face some romantic challenges of his own as he questions if Bobby’s grandmother Kathy Beale is really interested in him - prompting a soft rejection on her part.
Does Kathy’s heart still lie with her former flame Terry “Rocky” Cant?
