EastEnders airs the reveal of Bex Fowler’s secret struggles on Thursday, as her family learn what she has been through amid her running away from home.
Martin and Sonia’s daughter ran away after things became too much, as exam pressure and her family’s hopes for her making it into a top university left her turning to drugs.
Not only that, but her crush on family friend Kush led to her making another move on him, and his rejection left her devastated.
After drowning her sorrows, a run-in with Stuart led to her packing her things and leaving, with Tuesday’s episode seeing her mum discover she hadn’t been home all night.
Her family and friends rallied around to look for her, with Kush dropping the bombshell that Bex had let herself into his flat and tried to join him in the shower naked.
Kush and Martin came to blows over the situation, as they feared where the teen might have gone.
At the end of the episode on Tuesday, a paranoid Bex was seen in tears on the Street before being approached by a man.
As he proposed she went back with him she freaked and ran away, clearly distressed.
On Thursday, the search for Bex continues amid fears Stuart is behind her disappearance, after Ted saw them together the night she fled.
While Stuart is innocent, Martin accuses him of hurting his daughter, but soon realises this is not the case as he helps them with their search.
As Bex continues to take pills she becomes increasingly paranoid, thinking she’s being followed.
Back in Walford, Martin and Sonia learn about the drugs and also about her kissing Kush a few weeks ago, leaving them horrified.
But will they be able to put their differences aside and find Bex in time?
