EastEnders spoilers: Ballum in trouble as Callum makes worrying discovery about Ben?

EastEnders airs fresh trouble for Ballum next week, as Callum Highway is left unhappy about the actions of his boyfriend Ben Mitchell amid his new career hopes.

Callum rocked criminal Ben in recent episodes as he revealed he wanted to be a police officer.

Ditching the funeral parlour for a cop uniform, Callum told his partner that he wanted to be on the front line - while he even said Ben's recent shooting was part of the inspiration behind him wanting to help others.

Ben, master of dodgy dealings, was evidently worried about the news and confided in his best friends Jay Brown and Lola Pearce unsure if they could even stay together.

The character may have been a little over dramatic, but given the fact he can't help but dabble into a life of crime he could have a fair point.

New spoiler pictures for scenes to come prove just that, as the character is spotted by Callum potentially up to no good.

Callum is hoping Ben will tone down the criminal lifestyle with him potentially working for the police.

But he's left seriously annoyed when he spots Ben in the Square with pal and right hand man Tubbs.

Callum witnesses the pair talking before exchanging money, and he immediately realises they must be doing another job together.

But will he confront Ben over what he's seen, and how will he react?

Whether Callum's dislike of his dodgy dealings will be enough to set him on the right path is yet to be seen.

Ben asked Callum to be his boyfriend this week after being initially too worried of telling close friend Pam Coker, the grandmother of his late ex Paul, about their romance.

He feared she would think he'd forgotten all about Paul, so pretended an upset Callum was just a good friend.

Pam saw right through it and encouraged him to make Callum see just how much he meant to him, leading to a sweet reunion in the pub.

But could Ben's latest spell of trouble, and drama Callum is yet to even find out about, spell an end to the romance before it's really begun?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
