EastEnders spoilers have confirmed a twist in Sharon Mitchell and Mel Owen's raging war, as Ben Mitchell drops a confession.
Mel learned last month that pregnant Sharon was harbouring a massive secret - she'd had an affair with Keanu Taylor, the fiancé of her stepdaughter Louise Mitchell.
But there was a bigger twist to come, as she also discovered Keanu was the father of her unborn baby, and not her husband Phil Mitchell.
Keanu knows this, while he is also expecting a baby with pregnant Louise - with events leading to an explosive Christmas for the Mitchells in unmissable scenes in Walford.
Next week, after weeks of Mel blackmailing Sharon even asking her to buy her a villa in Portugal, things step up yet again.
Sharon has been away with Phil, but it's yet to be revealed whether she does as Mel says and buys the villa - which Mel wants so she, Lisa, Louise and Keanu can move there after her son Hunter Owen's recent death.
Hunter was shot dead by police after taking hostages in The Queen Vic, almost killing Ben, Keanu and Louise.
Sharon fears what Mel will do next, worried her secret will be outed, but it's Keanu she needs to worry about who wants to put a stop to the Portugal move.
Mel, meanwhile, is trying to convince Ruby Allen to buy her and Sharon's shares of the club - before she issues another threat to her new enemy.
What she's not anticipating though is Sharon confiding in stepson Ben about Mel wanting her to sell up, leading to a confession.
Ben drops a secret on Sharon that changes everything, but what does she find out?
Later on in the week, Mel find herself unravelling as she goes to desperate lengths to get what she wants.
Lying to those around her, how far will she go to make Sharon do as she says and will she pay the price for taking on the Mitchells?
