EastEnders killer Gray Atkins is set to propose to Chelsea Fox next week during an emotional moment following his father's funeral.
The evil murderer recently lost his job after being sacked by his boss at the law firm he'd been working at.
In desperate need of money, Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) decided to take up employment at a fast-food restaurant - but has so far managed to keep it a secret.
New BBC spoilers reveal that next week Gray will try is best to keep his new job under wraps as he listens in to a conversation between Karen Taylor and Bailey Baker.

Bailey is trying to convince Karen to go vegan, but Karen tries to persuade her to hold off for burger night.
Overhearing their conversation in the cafe, Gray realises Karen plans to go to the restaurant he works in and makes up a lie about how horrible it is.
He then changes the subject by telling Karen that he is going to his dad’s funeral.

Later that day, Gray catches up with Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) who has been avoiding him.
He begs her for forgiveness and asks her to attend his dad’s funeral, but Whitney firmly declines.
Meanwhile, his pregnant ex Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) tries to talk to him, but Gray doesn’t have the time to deal with her as Karen watches from afar.

The next day, Karen lays into Chelsea after seeing her talk with Gray and accuses her of gold digging.
Whitney feels bad for not going to Gray’s dad’s funeral with him, but Chelsea barges into No. 1 and realises that Gray is overcome with emotion.
Whitney shows up to attend the funeral, but Chelsea tells her not to worry and she will go to the funeral with him instead.
Later that day when they return, Gray begins to cry and Chelsea comforts him - but this leads to a tipsy and very emotional Gray asking her to marry him.
Will Chelsea accept his proposal? Or will she reject him and send Gray spiralling out of control?
It was recently revealed that EastEnders are gearing up for a dramatic double wedding that will air this Christmas.
Images showed the cast filming at a plush country manor - but Gray appears to be stood up on his big day and was seen speaking frantically on his mobile phone.
The other couple who look set to get married are Denise Fox and Jack Branning, as actors Diane Parish and Scott Maslen were also spotted on location wearing wedding attire.
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One with previous episodes available on BBC iPlayer.
