EastEnders' Sonia Fowler is left feeling torn about her dad Rocky's intentions on the BBC soap next week.
Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) hasn't exactly had the best relationship with her long-lost father since he arrived in Walford, and new spoiler reveal it's not going to get much better.
Next week, Rocky (Brian Conley) will try his luck with Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) again - but to no avail.
The pair are interrupted by Sonia, who tells her dad there’s a leak in her kitchen and he rushes to her rescue, but Sonia’s unconvinced with his plumbing credentials.
She’s proven right and ends up calling a professional but feels guilty about her choice of words and asks to spend some more time with Rocky.
The following day Sonia tries to find out what her dad’s plans are for Father’s Day but he’s oblivious to the special occasion.
When he steps in to help Kathy with the café and boasts to the customers about his daughter, Sonia is left feeling inspired.
Kathy’s impressed to see things running smoothly and agrees to take Rocky’s number - could a new romance be on the horizon?
Later on at The Vic, Sonia invites her dad over for lunch and he soon realises that it's actually for Father’s Day as Rocky promises Kathy he’ll call her.
However, Rocky might already be over Kathy as there's another woman that catches his eye - Shirley Carter, as when the pair bump into one another, there's clearly a spark between them.
Sonia is feeling let down when she thinks Rocky isn't showing up for their lunch, however when he finally does show, all is forgiven.
However, Sonia accidentally sees something on her dad’s phone that makes her suspicious. Could their father- daughter relationship be over before it's even properly begun?
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
