EastEnders could air a twist in its final episode until potentially September.
The show is about to go off air, with BBC spoilers teasing what is to come in next week's two episodes.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, filming was halted in March.
Episodes will now run out ahead of cast and crew returning to set later this month - with episodes running out from next week.
That means whatever happens next week will see the soap end on possibly the biggest cliffhanger of all time.
The show is reportedly not returning to screens until September, so that's three months to wait until the fallout of the last Duff Duff is shown.
Amid reports that storylines will see a time jump, it's not yet known how plots will be altered if at all.
But next week could see chaos for the Mitchells just as the show goes off air.
Sharon and Phil are struggling to get past their recent drama - and the death of her teenage son Dennis.
He died in the boat crash caused by Phil and Keanu Taylor during a fight, which came as the result of Keanu's fake death at Christmas.
Phil wanted him dead over his affair with wife Sharon, with her recently giving birth to Keanu's baby son Kayden.
Sharon wants to care for her baby boy, but Phil issued her with an ultimatum on Monday - she must choose between them.
Next week, Phil still seems keen to buy The Queen Vic from the Carters where he hoped to start a new life with Sharon, while it's not yet clear if he can accept the baby.
But Linda and Mick Carter fear Phil will buy the pub with dodgy money, and consider keeping it after all.
Once Sharon learns best friend Linda's concerns, she decides to take action - taking matters into her own hands.
But is she about to beat Phil to it and get the pub for herself, and could this be her final act of revenge?
Sharon has said she loves Phil and wants to give their marriage another go, but will Dennis' death and him rejecting Kayden push her away forever?
