EastEnders' Ruby suffers tragic miscarriage - but keeps it a secret from husband Martin

Ruby Allen suffered a miscarriage this evening in heartbreaking scenes, but kept it a secret from husband Martin.

The nightclub owner was left panicking after she found she was bleeding despite being pregnant with Martin's baby.

Earlier, Ruby and Stacey became embroiled in a row over her plans to take the kids to Greece on an Easter break.

After things turned nasty, Ruby headed to the toilet before abruptly rushing off to hospital in a panic.

As she received an ultrasound, the sonographer struggled to find a heartbeat.

Panicked, Ruby asked: "Would stress hurt the baby? I haven't exactly been calm in the last few weeks."

But the sonographer didn't respond, saying: "I'm just struggling to find a heartbeat. I'm going to get a second opinion."

Ruby was left alone and later arrived back, lying to Martin about where she had been.

Oblivious, Martin continued to say that he, Ruby and the baby were a "family" now.

Noticing that she was particularly quiet, Martin asked whether she was ok, to which she insisted she was fine.

But Martin then showed that he had framed Ruby's fake baby scan and she struggled to say anything in response.

Will Ruby tell Martin the truth?
