EastEnders: Ruby Allen's rape trial verdict is revealed as she faces Matt and Ross

EastEnders's Ruby Allen learns the verdict of her trial next week, as she prepares to face her rapists in court for the final time.

The character remains in turmoil over whether she'll get justice, after her harrowing ordeal last year.

After taking matters into her own hands and drugging Ross last week, she fears she may have affected her case.

Her close friends Stacey and Martin Fowler, and even former flame Jay Brown, join her in support as they await the guilty or not guilty verdict.

The week kicks off with Ruby making a huge decision, hoping to help her case.

During the trial, Ruby relives her ordeal to the jury and struggles on the stand.

Ross is unfazed and watches on defiantly, but pal Matt is clearly not coping with what's happened.

Stacey takes to the stand to support her friend, and is questioned by the defence.

But the character starts to unravel as she's faced with memories of her own harrowing rape ordeal at the hands of Archie Mitchell in 2009, who she later murdered.

Ruby takes matters into her own hands and decides to help her, trying to get her closure from her past.

As she vows to face her own demons, it's time for Ross and Matt to give their own testimonies.

Matt buckles under the pressure though, but will it bring a guilty verdict?

At the end of the week Ruby returns to court after hearing the verdict might be in sooner than they thought.

As the verdict comes in, will Ruby get justice?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm.
