EastEnders: Ruby Allen makes heartbreaking discovery about Stacey Fowler

EastEnders airs a devastating discovery next week, as Ruby Allen grows worried for her friend Stacey Fowler, working out she's still struggling with her past.

Stacey, played by Lacey Turner, takes to the stand in court as she shows support for Ruby during her rape trial.

Ruby was raped by Martin Fowler’s friends Ross and Matt in a harrowing plot last year, and in looming scenes she awaits the trial verdict.

But amid her own upset, a moment in court leads Ruby to a distressing realisation.

EastEnders: Ruby Allen's rape trial verdict is revealed as she faces Matt and Ross

As Stacey takes to the stand, she’s plagued with memories of her own rape ordeal at the hands of Archie Mitchell in 2009.

She struggles to cope and is left worried she’s messed things up for Ruby, clearly not over what happened.

Stacey beats herself up feeling bad for things not going as planned, but Ruby realises what is going on with her friend.

She decides to help her, knowing how what happened with Archie, and Stacey later murdering him, has affected her almost ten years on.

Ruby decides to help Stacey get closure on her own ordeal, and takes her to his grave.

After a little encouragement, Stacey says her piece with Archie and finally puts her demons to rest.

It spurs Ruby on to do the same, as she heads back to court to face her attackers Matt and Ross.

Later on in the week, Ruby returns to court after hearing the verdict might be in sooner than they thought.

As the verdict comes in, will Ruby get justice?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm.
