Former EastEnders star Rita Simons has been pictured out and about without her wedding ring.
The snaps of the former I'm A Celeb contestant, famed for playing Roxy Mitchell in the BBC soap, were captured as she visited a supermarket on Sunday.
The soap favourite, 43, was seen entering the shop clad in a face mask and sunglasses and then exited the grocery store with a carrier bag and a bottle of diesel exhaust fluid.
Rita cut a casual figure in black leggings that featured a mesh detailing and a plain T-shirt.
She covered her shoulders with a cardigan and slung a backpack over her shoulders.
The photos come after the news broke that the actress is splitting from her husband, Theo Silverston, of 14 years after they've secretly been living apart.
The sad split was confirmed by Rita's representatives, the Daily Star reports.
It's said that the actress had been "growing apart" from her hairdresser husband and as a result, they decided to call time on their relationship.
It's reported that the former couple, who share twin daughters, has been secretly living apart since as far back as 2018.
Her agent told the newspaper: "Rita and Theo have been separated for almost two years and Theo moved out of the family home some time ago.
"They are currently finalising their divorce, and amicably co-parenting their two daughters."
Rita is said to be looking forward to the future, with pals telling the publication: "The split has been a big change for Rita, but she knows it's the right decision."
The insider added that the exes are on "good terms".
