EastEnders reveals fallout to Bex Fowler's suicide attempt as dad Martin returns

EastEnders has confirmed the fallout to Bex Fowler's devastating struggle, after she attempted to take her own life.

While the scenes have yet to air on the BBC soap, viewers will see Sonia Fowler's teenage daughter pushed to the edge as she continues to hide how she's really feeling.

Earlier on in the year she ran away and even took drugs as she faced increasing exam pressure, and the fear of not getting into a top university - which she since confessed she didn't even want to attend.

Things reach a devastating turn in upcoming scenes, leaving her family reeling as she makes an attempt on her own life - with EastEnders working with Samaritans on the important storyline.
