EastEnders residents reeling as a body is found - leading to a killer confession

EastEnders airs the recovery of a body next week, as a shocking murder looks set to come to light.

Suki Panesar and Ravi Gulati face being exposed amid another big bombshell, after recent scenes saw them become involved in a murder.

Suki has yet to be exposed for 'killing' Ranveer Gulati after he tried to rape her – but what she doesn't know is that it was actually Ravi who murdered him, and then set her up.

Ravi is harbouring another big secret too soon to be exposed, as he is the secret son of Nish Panesar, making him Suki's stepson.

Suki has no idea that Ravi and his secret lover Nina are out to get her, trying to frame her for Ranveer's death in their bid to steal his money.

But next week it all kicks off after Nina's tip-off about her ex-husband Ranveer being missing, with his body soon found.

As the news drops, Nina and Ravi fear what it means for their plans - and whether they can successfully keep themselves out of it.

Soon the police come knocking and want to speak with Ravi and Suki over the death, which is being treated as a murder.

As the news spreads across the Panesar family, Suki is called to the police station for questioning, and soon the same happens with Ravi.

Suki's love interest Eve Unwin is suspicious over whether Suki could have really killed Ranveer, while Ravi faces tough questioning about his past and his relationship with the Panesars.

So will Suki face trouble for the crime she thinks she committed, or will Ravi's guilt be exposed?

It comes amid Ash Panesar actress Gurlaine Kaur Garcha teasing "explosive" scenes ahead for the family, as she spoke exclusively to The Mirror.

She told us: "There's good stuff coming up between them two and I think it's a really interesting dynamic, and whether hate turns to love or stays as hate.

"It will be interesting to see but there are good things coming up for those two!"

Gurlaine added: "It is exciting. The next few weeks the Panesars go on a whole journey. There is so much going on, their dad's back, Suki is in Mumbai, and what's gonna happen when she is back?

"I think what is great is we see those ups and downs, and the togetherness. We see it all and that's what families are like."

On whether Ash will accept Ravi into the family, she went on: "I think Ash has always been wary of Ravi and his intentions.

"But to find out that he's a part of the family I think she will welcome him. She is a very family orientated person. She hasn't got a mean streak. We have seen mean streaks but it has always been through protection, she loves her family.

"So I think she'll be glad to welcome someone into the fold, and will be protective of him."

Gurlaine also revealed how Ash might react to Suki's killer secret, saying: "I think she's very headstrong and morally right, but when it comes to family she is there for them.

"So I think her number one priority will be trying to understand why her mum has done this and what she has done.

"When she does find out what the reason is, I think she'll be very supportive, loving and caring, so I think it will be a battle for her of what is morally right, and what her mum has been through, so it will be interesting to see."

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
