EastEnders rescheduled tonight as Coronation Street airs hour-long special

EastEnders has been rescheduled tonight as Coronation Street airs an hour-long special.

BBC bosses have decided not to air EastEnders at its usual time to avoid a clash with Corrie.

Instead of two separate helpings of cobbles action, Corrie will air an one hour-long episode on ITV from 7.30pm until 8.30pm.

To make sure soap fans don't face an agonising choice, EastEnders will be on at the slightly later time of 8.30pm on BBC One.

Emmerdale viewers have nothing to worry about as the village-based soap will be on at the normal time on 7pm on ITV.
