Having finally discovered that Sharon's unborn baby is not his - furious Phil launches a chair and misses pregnant Sharon by inches.
EastEnders viewers were left 'shaking' after watching the tense trailer, which strongly hinted that the Mitchell family will not survive.
The explosive look at the Christmas Day episode starts with devastated Louise looking visibly distressed as she sits down for turkey and stuffing.
Secrets and lies are exposed as Phil stares menacingly at a glass, while Sharon gives a worried look after realising the game is up in the pub.
Ben promises his dad that Keanu "will not outlive Christmas" after the shocking revelation comes to light.
This leads to a massive showdown between Phil and Sharon that will go down in EastEnders history.
Seething Phil cries: "Worth it? Was he?"
The Walford hard man then picks up a chair and smashes it down on the dining room table.
In the pub, Phil tells his children, Ben and Louise, that they are the only ones that he trusts.

Elsewhere in the Square, Mick Carter finally loses patience with Linda over her drinking problem.
"You're drunk," screams Mick at his wife, who is then seen drunkenly stumbling around outside in a Mrs Claus outfit.
Meanwhile, Martin Fowler is overcome with emotion as he stares at a burning fire.
Taking to Twitter , one excited viewer said: "OMG goosebumps! Can't freaking wait! Awesome trailer!"
"Oh my goshhh buzzing for this! Never get Phil Mitchell angry," added another.
A third said: "This looks amazing but if you kill louise off i will NEVER forgive you... never"
"It is the most murderous time of the year in the Mitchell household that is," said a fourth.
EastEnders bosses have not confirmed whether Keanu will be leaving Albert Square in a body bag.
The official episode synopsis says: "More than one family is torn apart following the past events of Christmas Day and despite Walford’s biggest secret being exposed; an even bigger has now formed.
"Only a handful of people know the truth and whether or not it will remain hidden, only time will tell.
"One thing is certain however, if it ever did come out, the consequences would be catastrophic…."
