EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy’s daughter, 4, rushed for operation after breaking arm

EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy has revealed her little daughter Joanie, four, had to undergo an operation for breaking her arm.

The loving mum, 37, posted a snap of her snuggled up with her little girl on Friday as she smiled with her arm in a cast.

The soap actress - who plays Sonia Fowler - revealed her youngest child was treated the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex for her broken arm.

In a kind message, she praised the hospital staff for looking after Joanie.

Natalie hailed the NHS staff at the hospital as “absolutely incredible” and encouraged others to go to hospital if they are in need, despite hesitance amid the pandemic.

She thanked medics for looking after her daughter in “every way possible”.

The mum-of-two captioned the image on her Instagram : “I just wanted to thank all the staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital for looking after my little girl these last two days.

“She's broken her arm and had to have a little operation to fix it. Every member of staff were absolutely incredible and looked after Joanie and me in every way possible.

“Home now. Wanted to say if you need to go to hospital for anything PLEASE go- they are the best places when you really need them. #nhs #nurses #staysafe.”

Natalie raises her daughter Joanie with her fiancé Marc Humphreys.

She also has another older daughter Eliza, 10, with her ex Adam Cottrell.

Earlier this week, Natalie shared an ultra rare snap of her and fiancé Marc in a gushing post about him.

Natalie shared a photo of herself and her “soulmate” along with a heartfelt post where she poured her feelings out to him for the world to read.

The soap star posted a sweet snap of her and her hubby-to-be as they sat on the sofa together.

The rare snap of Marc came just moths after Walford fans were sent into meltdown, as they were introduced to him as one of the EastEnders cameramen.

Fans went wild as they learned that crew member Marc was the real-life partner of Walford legend Sonia, with many unaware the pair worked together.
