EastEnders' Mick Carter has tricked Phil Mitchell over Queen Vic sale before

Sharon Watts managed to get one over estranged partner Phil Mitchell in spectacular fashion during the very last episode before EastEnders went off air for the first time in 35 years.

And the Queen of Walford didn't nab the pub without some help from Mick Carter, who sorted out the deal before the deadline.

But this isn't the first time that Mick, played by Danny Dyer, has managed to trick Phil over the sale of the Queen Vic.

Back in 2013, Phil was desperate to sell the pub - but not to Shirley, who he was at odds with at the time.

He chose to finalise the sale to a man called Mick - but got a big shock on New Year's Day when the owner turned up with his family.

Phil chucked everyone out including Shirley, who said that his actions were "no way to treat a lady".

However, Mick interjected as he asked: "Is there a problem?"

"Just chucking out the rubbish," Phil responded flippantly. "Come on, out Shirley."

"I wasn't talking to you," Mick said, before glancing at Shirley. "You alright?"

"What, you know her?" Phil barked.

Shirley then announced with a smug smile: "Everybody, meet the new owner of the Vic."

Standing by Mick's side, she continued. "Phil, meet Mick - my brother."

Mick and Shirley began laughing at Phil's expense, sparking Mick and Linda's takeover of the pub for the next seven years...
