Max Bowden reflected on hours of snogging Tony Clay's face off in the cold a whole year after their kiss was aired.
The EastEnders star, 25, joined the hit soap as Ben Mitchell last year and he has since been an unforgettable character who seduced Tony's character Callum Highway.
In isolation, Max looked back on freezing cold nights filming with his on-screen lover for the soap last year.
His thoughts were sparked after an EastEnders fan account brought attention to the kissing scenes from last year.
The EastEnders fan account wrote: "This scene was filmed a year ago!"
Max shed some light on what went on with filming when he retweeted the EastEnders fan account's message.
He wrote: "Wow, is that right? A year ago we filmed that!?
"Hours out in the cold snogging each other’s faces off @tony_clay76
"What a year this little journey's been so far, son! The best onscreen partner anyone could ask for! Love ya kid!"
The actors have previously opened up about some awkward issues during their kissing scenes.
Tony revealed their stubble caused some problems during filming the smooches.
He said: "We’ve got solid stubble going on and obviously when you’ve sort of got to film stuff for late nights until half 11/12 in a park, it's very cold.

"Naturally there’s only so much Carmex that you can use! So you do get a bit of beard rash after."
EastEnders boss Kate Oates said the pair had really "earned that money" during filming on those night shifts.
She said: "We were so excited about seeing that kiss being shot, we’d been story lining it for ages... I think you guys started kissing at about half past 7 and at about half past 10 they were still going at it, like the pros that they are! Each take just felt so real and so engaging."

The actors also shared their shock at the fan reaction to the pair as a couple, also known as Ballum.
"I don’t think either of us really expected it to be as immediate and as brilliant as it’s been," Max said.

"It’s been such an interesting dynamic to play because as different as they are, they both have so many similarities - they both come from this really dysfunctional background of toxic masculinity and Ben’s been through it."
Tony added: "They’re kids both from troubled backgrounds in their own sort of way, they’ve both taken very different paths. Now they’ve met at the right age, the right sort of time and I think the right moment in their lives.
"It’s such a joy to work with Max and have the sort of dynamic between the characters. They are so different - they are worlds apart on many things, but equally there’s that thing that they come back from."
